Some great reads

There’s been a bit of a literary buzz this week.

First, there is a gorgeous new digital magazine for homeschoolers, by homeschoolers, called Mulberry Magazine.

Produced by Grace & Eric Koelma & their talented team, Mulberry is a veritable visual feast of whimsical wonderment.  Stunning photographs blend with useful, easy-to-read content such as:

  •      craft ideas
  •      quick chats & more detailed interviews with other home educators
  •      teaching resources
  •      recipes

The magazine is in PDF format with interactive links to online content. The regular price is $12.99/issue, but if you sign up for free, it’s just $9.99/issue plus you receive bonus resources & printables.  Why wouldn’t you sign up?  You can visit their website here or find them on Facebook & Instagram.

Spiral Garden Seedlings Pip

The other magazine that has inspired excitement in our part of the world is the latest issue of the Australian permaculture mag, Pip. This issue features an article by the founding family of our co-op about introducing permaculture principles to kids & the Seedlings permaculture course they run through their business, Spiral Garden.  They are local stockists of this lovely print magazine, so make sure you put your name down to be notified of new stock.

Please leave a comment below if you come across any great new reads, or have any old favourites.  We’d also love to hear your opinions of the magazines mentioned here 🙂
